Rincy and Chinna wed

Rincy Kalaparakudy, Fr. Varghese's little sister, had a lovely, quiet wedding at her brother's mission compound on June 17.  Ten missionary priests traveled in from across the region to concelebrate as Rincy took the hand of Chinna Rao in marriage.

"My sister is so happy," wrote Fr. Varghese, after the wedding Mass. "Everything went on well. My thanks for you all praying for the couple." 

"We are so happy to hear of your marriage this week!" wrote a well-wisher from America. "May the good Lord bless you at this exciting time and always. May you and your husband enjoy many, many happy and healthy years together."

On June 21, 2015, Sacred Heart families brought their children to the Kakinada mission to receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time.

Fr. Varghese's little sister Rincy arrived at Sacred Heart of Jesus Mission with her groom-to-be and mother, Chinna and Philomena. Thus began sewing of bridal garments and preparations for the quiet yet beautiful June 17 wedding.
