In spite of unseasonably hot Spring temperatures around 100 degrees F., faithful gathered with Fr. Varghese for a Good Friday procession through the streets of Kakinada. Many carried little wood crosses as a sign of their devotion and participation in carrying Christ's cross. Prayers were broadcast by means of a simple loudspeaker mounted on a bicycle rickshaw.
